Catholic Community of Manistee at 371 5th St., Manistee, MI 49660 US - Home
RCIA
At the Easter Vigil celebrated in parishes around our
diocese, hundreds of new members came into the Church through the Sacraments of Initiation.
It was through the process known as the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
(RCIA) that they received instruction and formation in the Catholic way of
life. Here in the Catholic Community of Manistee we are about to begin the
period of inquiry with interested persons. Our first session will be on
Wednesday, May 5 at 7:00 pm in the prayer room of the CCM Office. The inquiry
period is a time to ask questions and learn more about the Catholic Faith. If
you or someone you know is interested in learning
more about the Catholic way of life with the possibility of becoming a member
of the Catholic Church, I invite you
to join us. The RCIA is for anyone who has never been baptized or someone who
has been baptized in another faith denomination and wishes to explore
the possibility of becoming a member of the Catholic Church. The inquiry sessions will take place every other Wednesday,
beginning May 5 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm. For further information, contact Fr.
John at the CCM Office at 723.2619.
We, the Catholic Community of Manistee,
